Viktor Bubanj Boulevard (Aleja Viktora Bubnja)

There'll probably be no shortage of readers who would subtitle the Viktor Bubanj Boulevard as a "travelogue of a Yugo-nostalgic and vagabond of the Balkans". Others would call it a collection of stories of the generations from before, during and after the dissolution of Yugoslavia. Still others would focus on the subjects of foreignness and the loss and subsequent search for any kind of familiar, national and personal identity. However, all of them would be won over by Pančić's revolt against the human stupidity that sometimes seeps through the cracks of his pervasive ode to humanity, which the author resolutely defends from the brutality of political ideas and ideologies.
